Sarah Mikenis (b. 1986 in Portland, OR) is a painter currently based in Brooklyn, NY. She makes sculptural paintings, manipulating canvas to suggest an interaction between body and textile.

Recent solo exhibitions include New Paintings (2019) at Diane Rosenstein Gallery in Los Angeles, CA and Cover-Up (2018) at Nationale in Portland, OR. Her paintings were included in group shows including Shelter From the Storm (2022), The Creator Has a Master Plan (2020), The Seven Year Itch (2019) and Transfigured. (2018) at Diane Rosenstein Gallery, and Certain Matter (2022) at the Harold J. Miossi Art Gallery at Cuesta College. She was also featured in a two-artist booth with Diane Rosenstein Gallery at UNTITLED, ART Miami Beach (2018). She received her MFA from University of Oregon, her BA from Lehigh University, and was an artist-in-residence at Skowhegan School of Painting and Sculpture in Maine.
